Vision

MedWallet’s vision is to enhance access to healthcare for all social groups, globally.

The platform promotes preventative care by fostering greater medical self-awareness, tracking personal health trends, and enabling early interventions. This proactive approach can reduce health risks, improve individual well-being, and lower public healthcare costs—while also supporting providers in delivering high-quality, accessible care.

In many developing and middle-income countries, the lack of a centralized national system for managing medical data remains a significant barrier. Fragmentation—particularly between public and private healthcare providers—makes it difficult for individuals to consolidate and protect their health records over the long term. Although the COVID-19 pandemic spurred progress in digitizing medical data, many of these challenges persist.

In regions such as the Western Balkans, where 20–40% of the population lives abroad, the cross-border nature of healthcare adds further complexity to managing medical records. Meanwhile, remote and underserved communities—including rural populations, single-parent households, and expatriates—are driving demand for innovative, accessible digital health solutions.

MedWallet addresses these challenges by offering a comprehensive, all-in-one platform that ensures the long-term, secure, and user-friendly management of medical data—regardless of its format, language, or country of origin.

By centralizing diverse health data into a single intuitive framework, MedWallet empowers users to take much more care of their wellbeing while promoting a proactive and preventative healthcare culture. The platform enables individuals and families to monitor daily health indicators, manage chronic conditions, and respond effectively to complex medical situations. It also streamlines health-related tasks and transactions, saving both time and resources for patients, their families and the involved health providers.
